Wednesfield High Academy Children’s University Wednesfield High Academy is excited to be working with the Children’s University, a charity that is in partnership with Wolverhampton University and offers enrichment activities to support students’ love of learning. The enrichment programme is aimed at Years 7 to 9 and students collect a number of hours from activities both inside and outside of the academy. These hours equate to graduation levels of bronze, silver, gold etc. and, when students achieve the levels, they will receive certificates of achievement. Once they get to Gold and above, students and their parents will be invited to attend a graduation ceremony at Wolverhampton University, complete with caps and gowns, followed by a small reception celebration. Due to current situations, academy enrichment will be through online activities such as; Crazy courses, behind the scenes at Silverstone race course, reading challenges, design and make a balloon car, wonders of the world, come dine with me and many more. Students can get involved by emailing Mrs Coley at rcoley@wednesfield.uwmat.co.uk. More information can be found on the Children's University website www.childrensuniversity.co.uk
